Sean Henderson, CAC Chair
Born in Las Vegas and raised in Fresno, Sean is a graduate Clovis West High School. He received a football scholarship to the University of Utah, where he played two years.Sean completed his bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in Education at Fresno State. Most recently, Sean has advanced to candidacy towards his doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University. Sean has worked at Fresno City College since 1998, and currently serves as the Director of Student Activities. In this role, he oversees 50 student clubs and organizations and advises the Associated Student Government. In addition, Sean is the chair of the college's commencement ceremonies and the speakers forum. He is a member of the president's cabinet and serves as the college's chief academic dishonesty officer. Sean is a recognized public speaker with international, national, state, and local experience. He has received the Bill F. Stewart Achievement of Excellence Award in 2009 and several congressional recognitions (2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 & 2013). He has also owned and operated two small businesses.

Evelyn Castro
Evelyn Castro has worked as Project Officer for RMC Constructors since 1991. Through this position she is directly responsible for execution of subcontract agreements, vendor purchase orders, specific project insurance compliance, review and processing of material submittals and development and processing of all requests for contract documentation, clarification and or modification. Her extensive background includes accounting, payroll, contract administration, and project management. Evelyn currently resides in Clovis and has two adult children and two grandchildren.

Cynthia Sterling
Cynthia Sterling is a consultant providing professional political, business development as a minority woman small business through teaming, partnering and mentoring Opportunities. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Morgan Business Innovations LLC as well as Event/Project Coordinator for Select Training and Tutorial Institute Inc. with Dr. Henry A. Hendrix. From 2003-2011 Ms. Sterling as honored be elected as Fresno City Councilwoman for District 3. During this time she served as Council President 2009, Chair/Vice Chair Redevelopment Agency 2003-2005, member of Joint Powers Committee, Housing Authority Board, Co- Author "10 Year Plan to end Chronic Homelessness – Fresno City/County", Author – Universal Design Ordinance City of Fresno, 2009.

Melissa Knight
Melissa Knight brings a strong background in the fields of organizational psychology and public relations, with a keen focus on the complexities of diversity in business. Ms. Knight's diverse educational background, private, public and nonprofit work experiences and decades of consulting culminate into an uncommon consulting resource: the breadth of a generalist with the critical expertise and proven success of a specialist in multiple areas that are overlapping and complementary.

A nationally-certified trainer (BoardSource and Achieve Global), specializing in diversity, strategic planning, public affairs, communication, fund development and grant writing, her work with nonprofit agencies has focused on key areas essential to program growth and sustainability. Ms. Knight is completing a doctorate in Organizational Development at Alliant International University / California School of Professional Psychology (2013), holds a Master's in Organizational Behavior from the California School of Professional Psychology (1996), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism / Public Relations and minors in African American Studies and Women's Studies from California State University, Fresno (1992). A lifelong resident of the Central San Joaquin Valley, Ms. Knight grew up in the rural Fresno County town of Riverdale. She currently resides in Fresno with her children, ages 24 and 16, and their rescue dog, Cozy.

M. Bruce Smith

Honorable Bruce Smith is a 1981 graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and a 1978 graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara. His vast legal experience includes partnership in the Stammer, McKnight, Barnum, and Bailey Law Firm until 2000, as well as serving on the felony trial team for the Fresno County District Attorney's Office until 1988. Beginning as Trial Judge for Juvenile Delinquency in 2000, he now serves as Supervising Judge for Unlimited Civil at Fresno Superior Court. Honorable Bruce Smith is married and has two adult children.

Preston Prince

Preston Prince is the CEO/Executive Director for the Fresno Housing Authority, serving over 50,000 residents in California's Central San Joaquin Valley. Preston has led the Fresno Housing Authority since 2007. Currently, he serves in various community capacities, including Fresno Housing Education Corps, Fresno 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness, SOUL Charter School Advisory Board, Fresno's Economic Development Corporation, and many others.

He has over 20 years of experience in housing development and policy, including a master's degree in urban affairs from New School University in New York City. Previously, Preston served as Executive Director for the Aurora Housing Authority in Colorado, where he successfully implemented a mixed-finance development strategy and property management vision for the agency. Preston has been honored with an Extra Mile award for his contributions to Rocky Mountain NAHRO and was named Outstanding Director in 2007 by the Colorado State NAHRO conference.
