Counselor Supervisor
Positions Available: (2)
Shift: Tues-Sat
Person in this position will be responsible for providing direct clinical and treatment supervision and training to counseling staff; Supervise the maintenance of individual client treatment files in accordance with agency policies and procedures; conduct monthly quality assurance reviews of the treatment case files to ensure compliance with program standards; assist and monitor data collection and statistical reporting and complete Quality Improvement reports as requested; Participation in facilitating ancillary services, i.e. family support groups, family education groups, continuing care, networking with community agencies, developing and updating referral and resource information, etc.
Minimum Requirements: Masters or Bachelors degree preferred; hold a clinical license or certification (CADC); two years experience providing alcohol and substance abuse counseling services; one years experience in a supervisor/management position.

Certified Counselor
Positions Available: (4)
Shift: Rotating
Person in this position will be responsible for the delivery of clinical substance abuse treatment to clients participating in the program; complete assessment of each inmate with required assessment tools; initiate and sustain each individual's motivation to participate in treatment, develop a comprehensive service plan for each inmate that includes the results of assessments; provide daily treatment and curriculum-based education groups on the basic concepts of therapeutic change, etc.
Minimum Requirements: Masters or Bachelors degree preferred; hold a clinical certification (CADC or LPC); two years experience providing alcohol and substance abuse counseling services; knowledge of offender populations, criminal structures, and cultural differences, substance abuse assessment tools, and therapeutic community concepts and various specialty treatment categories.

Non-Certified Counselor
Positions Available: (7)
Shift: Rotating
Person in this position will be responsible for providing a variety of programs in relation to substance abuse for clients participating in the program; complete assessment of each inmate with required assessment tools; initiate and sustain each individual's motivation to participate in treatment, develop a comprehensive service plan for each inmate that includes the results of assessments; provide daily treatment and curriculum-based education groups on the basic concepts of therapeutic change, etc.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma; hold a clinical certification (CADC) or meet specified requirements within two after the date of employment (not work in any supervisory capacity until such requirements are met; work under the direct, verifiable supervision of an individual who has staff supervisory responsibility at the facility; sign and adhere to, a professional code of ethics developed by the organization; knowledge of offender populations, criminal subcultures and cultural difference.

Recreational Therapist
Positions Available: (1)
Shift: Mon - Fri Days
Person in this position will provide programming, specific to recreation, in relations to treatment issues to clients participating in the program; various recreational as a form of active treatment for inmates based around their issues with addiction to improve the physical, cognitive, emotional and social functioning and increase independence in life activities; conduct assessments, interviews and chart reviews with clients, etc.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or related field; accredited as a (CTRS) by the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification or eligible to take the exam is preferred; experience consisting of one (1) year, in a psychiatric, behavioral health or correctional setting administering therapeutic groups.

Historian/Clerical
Positions Available: (4)
Shift: M-F 8:00am - 4:00pm
Person in this position will be responsible for providing clerical and information management duties required for substance abuse treatment documentation, file management and data collection; responsible for administering and inputting required data into the DASA department's automated and reporting and tracking system; assist in data collection and generation of program evaluation for internal and state level reports; performs routine data entry of clinical information such as inmate participation and demographic data, coordinates with Office Manager on routine data entry of administrative information which may include general staff records and training.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required; one (1) year data entry experience; excellent computer skills; and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
