WestCare Georgia Boggs facility in Keysville, GA provides residential drug education and treatment services for adolescent males (ages 13-17) who have a history of substance abuse or dependence. The principle approach to our treatment is based on a gender-responsive, modified therapeutic community. This model embraces the concept that behavioral changes can occur through positive peer support and peer pressure. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the positions of:

CLINICAL DIRECTOR - Person in this part-time position will be responsible for the supervision of the clinical and assessment unit functions of the program and will assign staff to each youth at intake. The person will lead responsibility for therapeutic services and will review and approve the Individual Service Plan (ISP) for each child, and will supervise the coordination of services with the Program Director, School Districts, and other outside agencies or consultants. The person will conduct and/or monitor intake process, administer CAFAS, GAIN or any other assessment instruments; review and approve all Individual Service Plans for children. REQ: Masters or Bachelors degree preferred. Previous supervisory/management experience. Must be substance abuse certified unless proof of GA Paraprofessional certification. COOK - Person in this part-time position is primarily responsible for operation of kitchen in the facility, preparation of meals and snacks, nutrition requirements, USDA documentation and requirements, pick up of food bank supplies, purchasing of food and documentation, serving and light maintenance of equipment. Responsible for all functions described in the Food Services section of the program design. Other duties may be assigned as needed. YOUTH COUNSELOR (DIRECT CARE) - Person in this part-time position will provide direct supervision of clients insuring safety of all residents, including transportation, modeling appropriate behavior, and compliance to program rules. WestCare Georgia – Blanket Atlanta Outpatient Program provides continuous comprehensive care to homeless adults, their families, and those in need of permanent support housing, treatment, prevention, & recovery support services.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR - Person in this full-time position will work as part of a treatment team to deliver integrated substance abuse and mental health services, including individual, group and family counseling services and completion of documentation required for the clinical record including, but not limited to; development of the Treatment Plan, psychosocial assessment, relapse prevention, recovery support services, daily notes and weekly reviews, and will also provide case management services.
