Arnold Andrews Memorial Fund Established
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (September 1, 2006) - The WestCare Foundation, with the support of the family of Arnold Andrews, has announced the establishment of the Arnold Andrews Memorial Fund. Andrews served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of WestCare's Eastern/Offshore Division before his death in the crash of Comair flight 5191 in Lexington, Kentucky, on August 27.
The memorial fund has been established at the Community Foundation of Greater St. Petersburg, a division of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. Grants from the memorial fund will be used to support the WestCare Foundation in its work with underprivileged individuals and/or individuals in transition dealing with health issues.
"The Community Foundation is proud to honor Arnold Andrews. His passion to help people will carry on forever," said David Fischer, president and CEO, Community Foundation of Tampa Bay.

The WestCare Foundation, founded in 1973, is a tax-exempt, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, providing a wide spectrum of health and human services in both residential and outpatient environments, including substance abuse and addiction treatment, homeless and runaway shelters and behavioral and mental health programs.
